It will be interesting to see how negative she goes in the debate. I told some one I believe the real reason Patty Solis Doyle left the campaign was due to her not wanting to run a negative campaign. Notice that faster she left was when the Clinton people went negative.

As for Clinton's supporters, even if you are not a Clinton fan, you have to feel their pain. Here they were close to a historic first and now it is fading rapidly.

Should have a piece up later today about the experience bs.

After roaming dah internets & reading such fine blogs as Taylor Marsh's I was so sure that Hillary's people would come out more in support of her since I have read so much about them raising money & trying to really push a large GOTV effort for her.

I guess that Penn & his ilk have hurt Hillary's campaign with their missteps & arrogant statements. Plus as others have said she is not able to motivate people as much as Mr. Obama can.

Evan,

You certainly did call it. But there have been that many independents vote in previous primaries where Clinton was able to turn out her base and still win. I still think, her base is deserting her.

Not Your Mama may have put a finger on why. I think people are getting worried and angry about all this superdelegates talk. The interesting question is: what if the situation were reversed--if Clinton had won Obama's states and delegates?

At this point if Barack Obama does not get the nomination--assuming Texas and Ohio will not give Clinton a huge victory--then there will be hell to pay if the superdelegates were to elect someone else. That's why I thought John Lewis' announcement was so important. As usual, he's got it right: let the people speak and the people have spoken!

As for this "all talk but now action" I am putting together an essay of famous quotes by people who said various Presidents and other leaders were all talk. Just about everyone who is anyone over the last 100 years has been accused of that.
