I stumbled upon your site by trying to see if there was any evidence that the 2005 law change that seemed to come out of no where and get rushed through the legislature at breakneck speed was due to big banks and their legislative dependents seeing trouble on the horizon and protecting themselves, sounds like Lott felt that too. Even at the time I thought “where dud this come from?” Thoughts anyone?
