Wow. How about you take a look in the mirror first. People look for a scapegoat whenever possible, and how easy is it to say it is the presidents fault for this, the prime ministers fault for that. Lets try and look at ourselves for not being able to comprehend the beauty and genious that is shakespeare, and lets blame the OVERHYPE of Tolkeins writing on the 'cult', as you put it, that has placed Tolkein on a pedestal.
