In response to the question" Is Barack Obama another Bill Clinton?" I recommend Kevin Baker's Article in the July 2009 issue of Harper's entitled "Barack Hoover Obama- The Best and the Brightest Blow It Again" as food for thought.

Your comment about the revival of the Ante-Bellum South, I will have more to say on that in the essay on the GOP.

BTW, I highly recommend Jordan's book.

The convenient lost of memory of the historical elders guided by the counter revolution has done its work. I find often to explain my comments on blogs, I have to give a history lesson, which some of the time my own memory is deficient. Even when I post links to backup my comments, my facts are many times disputed.

I never thought there would be a generation gap that big between 60 and 40. Conservatives and Libertarians of the next generation, which pride themselves of being extremely literate, know nothing of the history of the African in America and act as if we were immigrants.

There comments remind me of children who put their hands to cover their ears and scream loudly as they can.

Then there is that group who is trying to rehabilitate the Antebellum South.
