		<description>Excellent analysis.  Your point that Democrats look good by winning New York&#039;s 23rd, but could get hurt by Republicans hiding their true beliefs is an important one.  The heck of it is that now no one can truly judge what it means to be Republican.

Two stray thoughts:  First, Tim Pawlenty also endorsed Doug Hoffman
